Gerardo G. Garcia, LEED AP BD+C
Gerardo Garcia is a Project Manager at Site Design Group, assigned to the Chicago Department of Transportation, Streetscape and Sustainable Design Program.

Gerardo’s previous experience includes designing and managing architecture and urban design projects in New York City and Eastern Europe. Gerardo’s interests lie in sustainable urban development and its impact on the quality of life of cities. An architecural and urban designer, Gerardo continually stresses the importance of such civic infrastructure both in practice and research. His work has been presented at the NYC Mayor’s Office for Long Term Planning and Sustainability, Columbia University, and the Roddom Institute in Ukraine.

Gerardo enjoys rediscovering his native Chicago and mentoring young people in his community.
