As we all have recognized the importance of transportation to our everyday existence, the design of landscaped medians and embankments, transportation hubs and terminals have brought a sense of human scale and beauty into an otherwise mundane experience.
Recognizing the speed at which we move, view our surroundings and translate images encourages a design based on masses of color, large-scale patterns and textures that calm, yet doesn’t distract from our task at hand.
